- The release of Moodle 2.5 this week brings two major updates to the open source learning management system.
- The new Bootstrap theme allows layouts to automatically adapt to any device being used, and will eventually become the standard for all Moodle themes.
- Additionally, Moodle now offers support for badges and compatibility with Mozilla's Open Badges, allowing students to display accomplishments on online profiles and show badges awarded through Moodle on Open Badges.
