- Brainzy, a new Education.com online learning program for reading and math, launched Thursday.
- The program — aimed at children in pre-k through first grade — was designed using data from the estimated 20 million Education.com worksheets downloaded annually and features over 300 Common Core-aligned games, videos, and read-along stories led by a cast of original characters.
- Brainzy is ad-free and available on tablets and desktop computers, with a classroom subscription for up to 35 students running $4.99 a month.
A release from Education.com cites the data benefits Brainzy can provide: One in four U.S. educators uses the site, so the team behind Brainzy is able to utilize real-time data to determine the best approach to designing supplemental learning materials. The company is also currently planning content for second through fifth grades as it continues to expand its existing content.
