- The company has also announced the launch of New Kano, an updated version of its platform compatible with the latest version of the Raspberry Pi hardware the platform is build on.
Dive Insight:
As more schools pursue activities to get their students acclimated to the world of computer science and coding, programs like Kano become invaluable. This is also an example of a tool that could spark the fancy of parents wanting to provide their child a bit more of a coding foundation.
The updates for New Kano also give the product a faster interface and include a slew of new activities and games. Terminal Quest, for example, has kids solve a mystery by using Linux commands to cast magic spells.
