• According to data from the company, the cloud-based LMS is being used by a quarter million students, educators, and parents while maintaining a 99.98% uptime.
• The data also shows BYOD policies playing a significant role in the platform's success: 47% of logins have been from mobile.

According to a case study and infographic released by Edsby, as many as 62% of students, 80% of teachers, and 22% of parents log in to the platform at least once week. The platform has reportedly turned out to be much more efficient, as well, as the district previously used a cloud-based gradebook, and high schools and elementary schools were using different platforms at different rates. To make things worse, it didn't work across platforms. Standardizing the system has made it easier to keep students and parents in the loop, and to deal with students transferring between schools, the case study says.

Perhaps more than anything else, this story shows the changing way students, and even their parents, access information. The increasing need to meet them where they're at, on their mobile devices, cannot be understated, as BYOD policies are no longer something for higher ed alone to address.
