Dive Insight:
While Louisiana jumps and back and forth over the Common Core debate, it's refreshing to see a different sort of innovation in the works. This sort of "entrepreneurial" program is not unusual, especially for New Orleans, where the city's traditional school district has been swallowed by the charter school movement. While this innovation is exciting, schools should be wary of the influx of programs on the market and really make sure they know what they are purchasing.
