Dive Insight:
"Schools need help creating a digital strategy, from building networks that can support exploding bandwidth requirements to selecting the right mobile devices and laptops to fit their students' needs," Dave Cristal, vice president and general manager of Insight Public Sector, told Market Watch. "These are complex challenges that require substantial investments, making high-quality information and guidance essential. With Insight ON: Education, we're offering a resource to help educators understand and tackle the specific challenges they face as they develop their own approaches for the emerging digital age of learning."
The provider of tech hardware, software and service solutions is one of many companies capitalizing on the growing requirement for technology in the classroom, and while its announcement is full of the big buzz words you'd expect, Insight ON: Education seems to be a solid resource on ways to utilize tech in the classroom. While schools should definitely look for new ways to integrate technology, they should also make sure they know all of the advantages and disadvantages of their options beforehand.
