Chicago, Illinois — September 17, 2026 — Healthcare Process Consulting (HPC), SES, and SchoolsOPEN today announced they have united under a single brand, Edsana, bringing school Medicaid billing and K-12 finance solutions together under one national partner for the first time. The rebrand consolidates 35 years of combined, state-specific experience serving public school districts nationwide.

Edsana will operate two service lines under the new brand: school Medicaid billing and compliance, covering billing and reconciliation, Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) coordination, cost reporting, and Medicaid Eligibility Rate coordination; and Finance ERP, a cloud-based fund accounting, payroll, HR, and time and attendance system purpose-built for K-12 districts. Both service lines will continue to be led by the same teams that have supported districts under the HPC, SES, and SchoolsOPEN names.

Edsana's Finance ERP team brings decades of experience building finance, payroll, and HR software purpose-built for school districts, rather than adapted from generic commercial accounting platforms.

The move comes as school districts face a widening gap between what generic, enterprise-built software and services offer and what K-12's specific regulatory and operational demands actually require. From state-specific Medicaid billing rules to fund accounting standards unique to public education, districts are increasingly seeking partners built specifically around how school systems operate, rather than adapting platforms and services designed for other industries.
