March 30, 2020

Helping students aspire to their best future selves, The Myers-Briggs Company offers K-12 students, parents and community stakeholders open access to the VitaNavis® platform to increase engagement and performance in a virtual environment.

Sunnyvale, Calif., March 30, 2020 — Amid disruptions in the lives of students during this time of national emergency, The Myers-Briggs Company has announced the release of an open-access offering of their VitaNavis® platform, a rapid, mobile tool for student self-discovery and exploration. The offering is designed to help K-12 districts, schools and educators support students at this critical time.

The VitaNavis platform helps students envision their future possibilities and connect to post-secondary education and the world of work based on their unique strengths, interests and values, whether they are just beginning to explore the world of work, planning for their next year’s academic schedule, or preparing to graduate and pursue post-secondary education. The Student Success package provides unlimited access to critical elements of the VitaNavis platform, including:

- Student Exploration & The SuperStrong® Assessment: Predictive and data-driven, the SuperStrong assessment helps personalize the student learning experience, guiding students to discover and align their strengths, interests and values to future college and career possibilities. The tool is predictive but flexible for students to navigate broad ranges of opportunities available to them.

- Advising Insights:  Counselors gain an understanding of students’ interests, learning styles and how they work with others and are better able to drive important conversations forward—especially in a virtual setting.

- Virtual Advising Guide:  The step-by-step guide helps counselors work with students virtually to navigate their academic and career pathways based on their SuperStrong results, promoting self-awareness and exploration to drive informed decision making.

Through the VitaNavis platform, educators and advisors can help students discover pathways aligned with their strengths, interests and values, while also identifying which students may struggle with online learning more than others. With that knowledge, educators can work proactively to help those students adjust to virtual learning environments and provide personalized support.

“At this time of exceptional stress for communities everywhere, The Myers-Briggs Company is committed to serving as the trusted partner to K-12 educators and counselors who support our nation’s children,” said Chris Mackey, general manager for The Myers-Briggs Company. “Districts, schools and educators that provide online tools can help students envision their futures and stay engaged with today’s world of work and academic opportunities. At The Myers-Briggs Company, we believe that building hope and resilience for students starts with giving them the tools that lead to self-discovery and self-awareness. Open access to the VitaNavis platform is one contribution we can make toward that goal.”
