CINCINNATI, OH - Jan. 12, 2017 - Knovation, provider of professionally vetted and aligned digital content and open education resources (OER), presents the Digital Learning Awards to the top 100 U.S. districts using applications netTrekker and icurio for the 2015-2016 school year. These districts use netTrekker or icurio to introduce classroom-ready digital learning resources, maximizing teaching and learning experiences to enhance their overall digital transformation.
The awards are based upon extent of usage and presented to districts that utilize the available digital learning resources to their highest potential. Below are the top three districts for each category by size of student enrollment:
Large-Sized Districts (more than 25,000 student enrollment)
1. Cabarrus County School District, North Carolina
2. Baltimore County Public School District, Maryland
3. Cherokee County School District, Georgia
Mid-Sized Districts (5,000-25,000 student enrollment)
1. Crown Point Community Schools, Indiana
2. Mooresville Graded School District, North Carolina
3. Upper Arlington City School District, Ohio
Small-Sized Districts (less than 5,000 student enrollment)
1. Johnson County School District, Kentucky
2. Corinth School District, MIssissippi
3. Community Consolidated School District 93, Illinois
