LearnBop Wins 2015 Tech & Learning Award of Excellence and 2015 EDDDIE Award; Fuel Education’s Middle School Language Arts Courses Win 2015 BESSIE Award
Herndon, Virginia, November 2, 2015 – Leading personalized learning provider Fuel Education™ (FuelEd™) announces its solutions have received three awards from three long-standing education technology publication awards programs.
Interactive math learning system LearnBop®, an exclusive partner of FuelEd, was selected as a winner in the 2015 Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence for Best Upgraded Product. The awards program, which is now in its 33rd year, recognizes software, hardware, network, apps, and web products that break new ground, as well as those that added significant enhancements to proven education tools.
LearnBop has made significant updates this year, including the addition of a bank of more than 2,000 Technology Enhanced Items (TEI) and full math content for grades K-12. By adding content for grades K-12, more students can reap the benefits of this rigorous, dynamic interactive math program – better preparation for state tests and improved learning outcomes by closing prerequisite skill gaps.
LearnBop also won a 2015 EDDIE Award from The ComputED Gazette for Best Multi-Level Math Website. In its review of the product, the judges described LearnBop’s Student Dashboard as “simple to navigate, providing useful information so students are aware, at all times, of the status of their assignments, assessments and progress.” Additionally, the judges commended the platform’s ability to provide “in-depth data reports available at the end of each session to give teachers insight into the knowledge gaps holding students back – including those from prerequisite concepts.”
FuelEd’s Middle School Language Arts Courses won a 2015 BESSIE Award from The ComputED Gazette for Best Middle School Language Arts Online Courses. The BESSIE Awards, now in its 21st year, target innovative and content-rich programs, apps and websites that provide parents and teachers with the technology to foster educational excellence. FuelEd’s Middle School Language Arts Courses are tablet-ready and aligned to national standards. The online courses concentrate on key English Language Arts concepts such as reading comprehension, analysis of informational text and literary works, oral presentation and expression, vocabulary, grammar and more.
“FuelEd and our partners, including LearnBop, are always adding new content and features in order to improve both the teacher and student learning experience,” said Gregg Levin, General Manager of Fuel Education. “This recognition from Tech & Learning’s Awards of Excellence and The ComputED Gazette’s two awards programs further confirms that we are helping our students continue and accelerate their academic growth.”
